Although furnaces and air conditioners do a lot to provide comfort in your Hampton Roads-area home, they work better with a partner: attic insulation. The warm and cool air that your HVAC equipment provides is wasted on an unfinished attic. All too often, lack of adequate attic insulation means that the money you pay to provide comfortable temperatures for your family is blowing into the attic.
There are two properties of heat that are affected by attic insulation:
Attic insulation solves both the summer and winter comfort problems by stopping heat at the insulation barrier. This keeps the heat in the living area of your house in the winter and prevents it from reaching the living area in the summer.
