Solar power is a relatively new technology and homeowners are still trying to learn the ins and outs. One of the most common questions we hear is, "Is it even worth investing in solar energy in this southeast Virginia climate?"

The answer to that question will be different for every home because each situation is unique, but we can say that solar energy can be an extremely productive investment for many homes. You need to assess your situation to know whether it is right for you. Benefits of solar energy in southeastern Virginia:

  • Save over 60 percent - The average home in this area can potentially save 63 percent or more on their energy bills with the right solar equipment for their home. This number can vary, depending on the location, layout and sun exposure of each home, but it gives you a good idea of what solar can do for you.
